Dear Friends at Holy Cross,
This Sunday, September 9, is Rally Day at church! It is the start of another new season or year for Christian Education. We will have a gathering together after early service with breakfast starting at 9:15 or so and activities beginning at 9:45 to encourage all of us in our growth together in Christ and in God’s Word. Our theme for the year is Rooted in the Word. Check out the bulletin board in the fellowship area to see and read all the verses from God’s wonderful Word that your friends are sharing with one another in the coming weeks!
I want to encourage you to Bring Your Own Bible (BYOB) to find a verse you are blessed by to share. Also since the 3rd graders will be getting a gift Bible from the LWML it shows each other how we cherish God’s Word, use and read it regularly; that it does not just sit on a shelf or table at home.
Join your brothers and sisters in Christ this Sunday, bring a Bible and let’s continue growing as everyday missionaries by digging deep into God’s Word in the coming months!
