Wear purple (even if it’s your Viking gear) next Sunday and help us celebrate the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League. A Mite Offering will be taken so bring your Mite Boxes that are filled with coins and purple five-dollar bills you’ve been collecting over the past year. On LWML Sunday we’ll take a look at this 79-year old organization and thank God for what He has done and continues to do through this organization. From one grant for $15,000 in 1942, to 28 mission grants to fund, and a $2,150,000 mission goal in the current biennium, God has truly blessed the LWML.
