Yearly, we celebrate the mission ministry of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) on the first Sunday of October. 2017 marks the 75th anniversary of the LWML. We celebrate this auxiliary organization with collecting of mites for missions and wearing purple. Sunday’s theme is “Thank the Lord for Faithful Women in the Bible and at Holy Cross!”
